Radar Week: September 8-12, 2008, South Australia

The inaugural RADAR WEEK, September 8–12, 2008, will follow the 2008 International Conference on Radar in Adelaide, South Australia.

Choose from a series of 2-day short courses presented by international experts and/or a field trip to explore HF Surface Wave Radar.

Courses will be held in the Conference Centre, Technology Park Adelaide, Mawson Lakes, South Australia.

If enrolling in two courses during Radar Week a 20% discount will be given.

About Field Trip To Visit Radar

A guided bus tour to the Radar site at Buckland Park, South Australia, included are morning tea, wine tasting at Kabminye Wines, 3 course lunch at Krondorf Road Café and a visit to Whispering Wall in Williamstown.

The trip will begin from Adelaide City at 8:15 am (pick up from Bowen Street). It is expected that the coach will arrive back to Adelaide City at approximately 5 pm. Additional pick-up and drop-off location will be at the Mawson Lakes Hotel, Mawson Lakes. For more details on the tour please click here.

Cancellation Policy

At least four weeks notice is required for cancellation of a place in a short course for full reimbursement. If cancellation is later than 4 weeks then the place can either be given to another person or the registrant can be provided with a credit towards other NICTA training.
